I hope the mapping stuff will be done by someone else (another person
on the team hope to find time to look at it). The current idea is to
switch to latitude/longitude and use OpenLayers to draw the map.

We have not looked at this yet. I assume we need to replace the UK
specific mapit stuff, but do not know what is needed yet. So nothing
is planned so far, and we welcome help in fixing these parts.

At the moment we are slowly getting to a point where we need to fix
those two issues to get further, and we would love to have help
implementing a non-UK-specific solution. :) I am still working on the
translation and locale specific issues, but suspect I have managed to
get most of them resolved. I've also adjusted the address searching
code to search in Norway and not in UK. Not sure if I found and fixed
all parts of the code that needed to be adjusted for this.

CC back to fiksgatami@, to let the rest of the Norwegian team know
about your proposal.

Happy hacking,
