System Developer, Internal Systems

Location: Oslo, Norway

Opera is seeking exceptional and experienced system developers to help  
develop and maintain a wide range of
internal web applications and other information systems.
These systems are essential to support our rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:
  * Developing new web applications and other systems to improve workflow  
and coordination within the organization.
  * Maintaining existing internal and external web applications and other  
systems.

Requirements:
  * Strong Perl and/or Python skills.
  * Good knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  * Good knowledge of web standards.
  * Experienced in database design and SQL.
  * Good working knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  * BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  * Experience working in Linux environments.

Ideals (one or more):
  * Experience with XML and XSLT.
  * 3+ years of industry experience developing web applications.
  * Experience with Apache and mod_perl and/or mod_python.
