== What we offer

We offer a full-time position in our small and relaxed team in Bjørvika,
in the heart of Oslo.

Oslo is currently one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. Situated
between mountain ranges and at the head of the beautiful Oslofjord, the
city has everything to offer in terms of outdoor activities. The recent
years’ boom in everything from underground music, niche art, tasty
microbrewery beers, the vibrant tech community with lots of meetup
groups and several hacker- and makerspaces means there is always
something to do.

As one of our Cloud Architects you will, together with our experts in
cloud technology who come from various backgrounds, work on projects of
varying duration, complexity and technical environments. You will also
have a chance to work with a variety of high-profile customers from
several industries.

Day-to-day work can be anything from implementing configuration
management infrastructure to taking a step back and giving design
recommendations to a technical team.

=Skills & Requirements

== Who should you be?

You should have two primary skill sets, a technical and a social one.

== Technical skills:

    You have a background as a system administrator, backend developer
or both.
    You are familiar with at least one of Amazon Web Services (AWS),
Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure. You have experience in setting
up everything from single instances to complex managed services.
    You are an expert in either the Linux or the Microsoft ecosystem
    You have used and implemented various forms of automation, such as
configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Powershell, NixOS) and
continuous integration services (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Buildkite)
    You know at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Erlang,
Python) and have used it preferably for server backend applications
    You are familiar with at least one common database technology (e.g.
Postgres, MySQL, Riak, CouchDB, MS SQL) and messaging queues & systems
(e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS Kinesis, AWS SQS)
    You are familiar with common network components (e.g. DNS, routing,
firewalls)
    You have fundamental IT security knowledge (e.g. familiarity with
the principle of least privilege, public-key cryptography and TLS)
    Design patterns for cloud architectures, such as stateless
applications and immutable deployments, make sense to you intuitively
    Bonuses:
        You have worked with distributed systems
        You are an expert in DVCS, such as git or Mercurial
        You have other technical skills which you think might be related

== Social skills and other requirements:

    You can explain technical content to people who might be less
familiar with technology
    You have professional experience working directly with customers
    You are motivated to deliver quality solutions rather than “just
getting the job done”
    Working with different teams on a regular basis is not a problem for you
    You don’t mind travelling through one of the world’s most beautiful
countries
    You must have permission to work in the EU/EEA
    Bonus: You speak Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
