Hello,

I am a Free Software activist living in Oslo and the author of GNOME
Internet Radio
Locator (<URL:http://c0.no/5nw>) and I hope to contribute to Nikita Noark 5
Core, the
Free Software implementation of Noark 5.

I have written down a few procedures for working on the Nikita Noark5 Core
project.

   mkdir -p ~/src/noark5/
   cd ~/src/noark5/

I downloaded source code from https://github.com/HiOA-ABI/nikita-noark5-core
with

   git clone https://github.com/HiOA-ABI/nikita-noark5-core.git

as well as noark5-tester from
https://github.com/petterreinholdtsen/noark5-tester.git

   git clone https://github.com/petterreinholdtsen/noark5-tester.git
   cd ~/src/noark5/noark5-tester/

I ran the tester against http://nikita.hioa.no:8092/noark5v4/ with

   ./runtest --baseurl http://nikita.hioa.no:8092/noark5v4/

The preliminary test result was

   898 success, 457 failures, 52 expected failures
I also successfully logged into the preliminary web interface in Chromium at

   http://nikita.hioa.no:3000/experimental/login.html

with username 'admin' and password 'password'.

The node.js code for the experimental web interface is in the "web" folder:

   cd ~/src/noark5/nikita-noark5-core/web/experimental

I hope to contribute further in the future.

Best,
Ole
