Hi Ole,

Interesting email. I think the answer to that is yes - to a degree. There are a few videos on YouTube about this topic (can't remember the links). Perhaps the World Wide Web as we once knew it is dying. There is definitely a silofication process that is ongoing that is about locking people into platforms. This silofication then builds a layer of security, and the only way everyone can be kept safe is by surveillance.

Just as concerning is the power Google, MS and facebook in forming the public narrative and flow of information. I think people are genuinely happy to live in their safe little bubble knowing that Google knows very intimate details about them. Perhaps it's a kind of Stockholm-syndrom we are seeing at a huge scale.

In the previous mail, I said you have two approaches you can follow. Make an app as a GUI (interacting) or document capture to get more information into the core. Document capture is a more interesting project, especially technically. I'd be happy to discuss it in more detail during the autumn.

Petter nevnte at det var problemer med å få importert inn data fra mobiltelefoner i Noark5-arkiv.

Det er mulig Android-app'en Nikita Noark5 Core Android 0.7.0 (20220629) kan bidra her til en videreutvikling som en arkivskaper som laster opp innhold og indekserer dette til Nikita Noark5 Core serveren via REST-api'et som Thomas har utviklet.
