[NUUG video] Video from Go Open 2008 slowly showing up on the web

Hi, 

The Go Open 2008 video team is slowly getting the videos online.  So
far, the technical track and most of the OOo- and strategic track is
uploaded to www.nuug.no, and is being encoded/compressed as I write.
Please do not announce it before the complete list of videos are
published.  Dave is working with Herman to rip the keynotes and other
tapes, and when this is done the USB disk with these files will be
moved to USIT for copying.  This will take at least two days (19 hours
of video :-).  When the files are copied, the video need to be
compressed, and this will take half a day or more.  So at the end of
this week, I hope all files are published.

The published version show up in 

  http://www.nuug.no/pub/video/published/

The files are named date-goopen-track-time-surname-keyword.ext.  Video
is available as compressed MPEG and X264, and the audio is available
as MP3 and Ogg Vorbis.

The slides I have gotten my hands on so far are available from

  http://www.nuug.no/pub/dist/

The name structure is similar there.

The raw DV files are available from

  http://www.nuug.no/pub/video/raw/

These files are _huge_, and should normally not be needed.  Please
only download these if you need them, to save the server from the
load.  :)

I propose we use video at nuug for further discussion on video
processing.  Please subscribe using
<URL:http://lists.nuug.no/mailman/listinfo/video> if you want to
participate.  Note also that we are using $goopen-video on
irc.freenode.net to coordinate the work.
