The Web Archivability Community Group https://www.w3.org/community/webarchivability/ has been launched:
Web Archivability is interested in proposing best practices that help the web developers and designers in building web site that can be easily captured, preserved, and replayed using the web archiving tools.
In order to join the group https://www.w3.org/community/webarchivability/join, you will need a W3C account https://www.w3.org/accounts/request. Please note, however, that W3C Membership https://www.w3.org/community/about/faq/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group is not required to join a Community Group. This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2015-10-08 by Ahmed AlSum. The following people supported its creation: Ahmed AlSum, David Bromage, Ilya Kreymer, Nathan Tallman, Daniel Gomes. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities. The group must now choose a chair https://www.w3.org/community/about/faq/#how-do-we-choose-a-chair. Read more about how to get started in a new group https://www.w3.org/community/about/faq/#how-do-we-get-started-in-a-new-group and good practice for running a group https://www.w3.org/community/about/good-practice-for-running-a-group/.
