Hi,

An article about Documaster in todays DN.

https://www.dn.no/grunder/2017/05/22/2048/Finans/grundere-gode-for-50-millioner

Documaster originally came from the dots project that was a loose collaboration between

HiO and DCU. A student in DCU called Alan Jue Liu did the first work on what became dots,

the following year Dimitar, who also was a was a masters student, continued to develop it

and built a data quality GUI on top of it. Dimitar moved to Norway to concentrate on the project.

After a while he teamed up with NXC, that became norse.digital, and they spun the project off as

Documaster. I am really glad to see Documaster doing so well!

Dimitar donated a copy dots to me and this can be found here:

nikita shares the same persistence layer as dots, but other than that is a total rewrite. It has no code

from dots in it. To be fair every Noark 5 system should have that persistence layer.

I also built a web-based GUI n5 case-handling system on top of dots called edu-dots. That code was never

published for some reason.
