"Brussels, 15 February 2023 — FFII has filed a corruption complaint against the European Patent Office (EPO) and the state of Netherlands on a 200M EUR building bribery. The EPO has exchanged a promise to invest a 200M EUR building in Rijswijk against aggressive fiscal privileges for its staff, transforming the Netherlands in a tax haven for international institutions. FFII tried to alert belgian socialist MEP Tarabella few days before the QatarGate exploded. FFII is calling on Member States and EU institutions for an investigation of the case, and a pause of the ratification by Germany to launch the Unified Patent Court."
Det er en interessant og skremmende historie om det europeiske patentkontoret.
Har det norske patentkontoret også økonomisk insentiv til å godkjenne så mange patenter som mulig?

Det viste seg at nettsiden forsvant like raskt som den dukket opp, og da jeg spurte forfatteren fikk jeg høre at den fortsatt var under utarbeidelse og dukker opp senere.
I dialogen fikk jeg tips om at Tyskland desverre nettopp har annonsert at de knytter seg til den overordnede patentdomstolen, <URL: https://patentblog.kluweriplaw.com/2023/02/17/breaking-news-germany-ratifies... >, som jeg antar også et interessant for leserne her. FFII håper å ha råd til å gå til sak for å få stoppet Tysklands ratifisering.
