It is the Norwegian variant bokmål, not brazilian. We are also working on the Norwegian variant nynorsk.

I'll do that. I assume you are talking about the Debian bugtracking system? I'll have to investigate how to attach files to the bug reports.
Do you have a time schedule for the next tasksel release? If it isn't released soon, we will have to make our own tasksel release with our translation to be able to include a norwegian version on our CD. We are supposed to release in february, and need to test the programs no CD as soon as possible.

You misunderstood. I got one Norwegian and one Brazilian translation, thus the email was addressed to two people.

Thank you very much. I fetched the source and tested the latets version, but ran into a small problem.
The gettext library seem to refuse locale settings which are missing in GNU libc. The nb_NO (Bokmål) locale is called no_NO (Norwegian) in glibc, and tasksel did not show the translated messages when I tried to call it using
LANG=nb_NO.ISO-8859-1 tasksel
I had to rename the nb_NO.po file to no_NO.po, edit the Makefile, rebuild and install the package before I could get it to work.
(In the process, I also updated the .po file with the new translations and added the new file in our CVS for the translators to pick it up. I'll let you know when I have a updated translation available. :-)
Anyway, until we are able to fix glibc, I'll ask you to rename the nb_NO.po file to no_NO.po to get this working.

It _is_ supposed to be nb_NO, but glibc haven't updated it's source yet. Previously, there was only one code no for Norwegian, but now both norwegian variants, bokmål and nynorsk, have their own codes (nb and nn) we need to update all packages to handle the new codes.
(KDE have the same problem. They use no and no_NY. :)
