[i18n-no] Riksmålsvariant av ordlistene?

Til Riksmålsforbundet ---------------------- Jeg representerer prosjektet no.speling.org[4], som er ansvarlige for utgivelsen, vedlikeholdet og videreutviklingen av den eneste frie norske stavekontrollen, en ordliste som brukes i bl.a. OpenOffice.org, Mozilla og Firefox -- og mye annen fri programvare.[3] Jeg tror det ville økt verdien av ordlistene å ha muligheten til å velge riksmål, særlig siden det altså finnes en (normgivende?) ordliste også[1,2]. Det er kanskje heller ikke uvesentlig at vi da har noe ingen andre har og kan markedsføre det i diverse fri programvare :-D Vi har dessuten fått høre om medlemmer av riksmålsforbundet som er villige til å bidra med innleggelsen av disse ordene. Dermed burde en frigivelse kunne føre til at ovennevnte programmer får en ordliste for riksmål. Opphavsretten til Riksmålsordlisten regner jeg med ligger dels på kunnskapsforlaget og dels på Tor Guttu.[1,2] Vet ikke om vi må ha begges tillatelse for å frigi den, men jeg håper både Guttu, Kunnskapsforlaget og Riksmålsforbundet er villige til å frigi deres ordliste, slik Bokmålsordboka og nynorskordboka allerede er frigitt.[6] Ser forøvrig at Riksmålsordlisten er tilgjengelig på[5]. Hvis Tor Guttu ikke er med på denne listen kan noen videresende denne forespørselen til ham -- eller gi meg hans adresse? Er det noen som har forsøkt Daisy Pipelie eller relaterte produkter? Kan dette samarbeide med Festival på noen måte? Jeg kan lite om talesyntese, men jeg vet at én av de viktigste tingene for FLOSS-miljøet er at vi får en løsning vi kan bruke i systemene våre. Og at den er god. Hvis Daisy kan integreres med eksisterende FLOSS programvare, for eksempel KDE, Gnome, Festival og andre, er vi vel i mål, eller i alle fall halvveis der? Oversikt over «raude dagar» og andre merkedagar i KDE (brukt i KOrganizer og andre plassar i Kontact) har ikkje vore heilt bra. Blant anna har nokre dagar falle på feil datoar, og andre har hatt helle rare skrivemåtar («Bots & bededag»). Eg har no prøvd å oppdatera denne datoinformasjonen, og har sendt inn den oppdaterte datofila til KDE, slik at ting skal vera rett i KDE 4.1.4 og 4.2.0. Her er fila. [i18n-nn] Ubuntu og omsettingane deira

Hei Etter å ha slite med Fedora så installerte eg Ubuntu for å prøve noko nytt, og eg innser no korleis Ubuntu sine omsettingar ikkje følgjer retningslinjene i det heile. Verkar som om omsettarane ikkje har lese dei. Uansett. Eg rapporterte det til Launchpad her https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-translations/+bug/600514 . Får håpe noko blir gjort med det, for eg stirrar no på ein nynorskstreng med «forbereder» og «detaljer» i seg. Er det riktig at omsettingar må følgje språkrådet for å kunne bli brukt i læringssamanheng? Blei usikker. -- Mvh / Kind regards Torstein Adolf Winterseth

Bare for sikkerhets skyld: Jeg antar det er korrekt å si at orddelingsreglene har samme lisens som resten av ordlistene, altså «GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE, Version 2, June 1991»? Jeg har prøvd å finne informasjon i no.speling.org sin SVN, men finner ingenting som nevner orddeling eksplisitt. Dette er vel overtatt fra Kleveland i sin tid, noen som husker/vet? I asked the danish people (to whom I occasionally send some data) about this. The hyphenation and the README file does nto seem to have anything to do with each others. The README is from the dsdo - den store danske ordliste (da.speling.org). The dsdo is basically a word list for spell checking, but it does also contain some hyphenation information for specific words, but no general information about hyphenation rules. So the dsdo is probably not the base for the hyph_da.dic file. It turned out to be a rather short table (compared to the one for English) because Portuguese has very concise rules for hyphenation. I'd like to make this table public and freely distributed. Even included in the distribution tapes. I have extensively tested it (with patgen) and haven't found any erroneous hyphenation. It does miss some hyphens but they are very very few. It certainly does not hyphenate a word beyond an accent or a cedilla, but that's the way TeX handles hyphenation of words with intervening macros (cf. Appendix H of The TeXbook). Results: The same user who'd filed the related Debian bug (Matthias Klose) requested information about the possible licence violations on the OpenOffice Lingucomponent mailing list and got an answer from the leader of the Polish NLC project: http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=dev&msgNo=22… In short: although "the LPPL explicitely allows derived work, even under a different license", the current README file of the Pl (and many others) hyphenation patterns didn't contain all the information required.
