Subject: A small request Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2002 10:33:50 +0100 (MET) From: Malcolm Hunter malcolm.hunter@gmx.co.uk To: kde-i18n-doc@mail.kde.org
Just a reminder. I know most translators are aware of the work that the proof reading team are doing and have helped greatly in the past. To those who are not, and especially to those who have just begun the mammoth task of translating to their own language, could I just make a small request?
Whenever you come across bad spellings, grammar or punctuation, please don't ignore it. Could you send a quick email to kde-doc-english@kde.org and/or myself giving:
the .pot file that you are working from the text of the msgid in question the contents of the # comments field
I'm not asking you to do our job for us (don't specifically look for these errors - your job is to translate after all), but if you come across something and are wondering who to tell, well now you know :o).
Thanks and regards, Malcolm
