Unless the two guys below answered you and the list separately, it looks like their replies only went to the list. So just in case:

Sent from my iPad. How do you spell emerging in Norwegian??? I am an artist and want to make a sign to put over my door going into my studio.
It depends on the meaning of "emerging" you emphasize. As far as I know there is no single word covering all meanings. Could perhaps be something like "framveksande", "framvoksende", "framgå", "dukke opp".

I just found out my grandfather, and his parents came from Norway. So doing some ancestry work. Can you suggest a good site to help me find out more about family ancestry from Norway??? Thanks so much Terri
Perhaps www.geni.com or www.geneanet.org is a site to start searching?
You can also check out <URL: http://www.disnorge.no/cms/en/eng/english-pages >, a site for people interested in computer assisted genealogy. They have links to lots of sources. :)
One specific page at disnorge.no that you should check out is http://www.disnorge.no/genress/index.php?todo=visKategori&kid=105914
Also, the Mormon church seem to have a pretty good grip on genealogy, including indexed Norwegian sources: https://familysearch.org/
