We want to release new kernels which fixes sl-bug #560
Since this involves overwritting of the current running kernel, we want to make sure that the admins have som sort of howto availible when they are doing what needs to be done.
why is the current kernel overwritten? skolelinux uses grub, so the kernel just needs to get installed like any other package, right?
at boot time the worst that can happen is that you boot the old, vulnerable kernel.
am i missing your point?
do we really need translated security advisaries? woulnt it be enough if people just got informed (mailinglist?) when they should run apt-get update; apt-get upgrade?
