It will speak words to the students (either in a game, or for words they don't understand, or for words in a sentance). The great thing about it is that we are using SDL_ttf for the fonts and Festival for the speech synthesis. So translating it to other languages and character-sets will be a snap!So vidt eg veit, støttar ikkje Festival norsk, men dette verkar uansett som eit interessent prosjekt.
8-) Jeg har hatt _veldig_ lyst til å gi meg i kast med innspillingen og prosesseringen av norske "stemmer" til Festival. Ifølge dokumentasjonen bør man helst ha et lydstudio, og god tid!
Lydstudio har jeg ikke, men jeg tar gjerne imot råd om hvordan man får til noe nær studiokvalitet med PC og en proff dynamisk mikrofon.
