i følge meldingen under ser jeg at nynorsk (nn) har fullført oversettelsen for "menu". Jeg klarer ikke finne filen i vår CVS. Er det en forglemmelse? Jeg tenkte jeg skulle støtte meg på den når jeg startet arbeidet på menu for bokmål. (Jada, jeg finner filen på http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/nn.)
Et lite sidespor - hvorfor er ikke http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/nn og http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/nn_NO aliaser. Det er forskjellig innhold på disse sidene. (Tilsvarende for bokmål.)

PS! Hvor er det naturlig å plasserer menu - i i18n/other/[nn,nb]/debian?

Well, translators, you're in a good shape so let's get you practice..:)
First of all, this mail is of NO CONCERN for the translators of the following languages:
cs,da,de,eo,es,fi,fr,it,ja,nl,nn,pl,pt_BR,pt,ru,sv,tr,zh_CN
If your language is among these, NO ACTION is needed from you.
This is because the given translation is complete for these languages (indeed, it is partial for 2 of them, but translators have been notified).
The "menu" package also includes translations for the command-line utilities it uses. Though this translation may be seen as "less important" than the menu sections names translation, we have the opportunity of bringing yet more l10n in a Debian program, so let's not miss it..:-) [KUTT]
