Bjørn and Norwegian translators,
The aptitude software currently has an incomplete translation in Bokmal (Nynorsk is complete), by Bjørn Steensrud.
Could you consider updating it ?

I didn't find any copy in skolelinux CVS so I wonder if it is handled by the Skolelinux team...anyway, this would help completing Debian Installer "level3" for nb (nn is already complete).
Another file pertains to D-I level3....it is currently not translated at all in nb...and the deadline before Debian release may be too short. Anyway, if one of you has the courage...This is a long work because there are only 100 and so strings but some are very long ones !

Burde ikke disse filene også vært del av SkoleLinux CVS slik at alle vet at de allerede er oversatt? Eller er dette filer som er utenfor SkoleLinux?

Filene er i skulelinux CVS. Dei ligg på i18n/other/n[nb]/debian/3rd-stage/. Filene er organisert litt annleis på http://people.debian.org/~seppy/d-i/translation-status.html, men eg har ikkje gadda å endre organiseringa på skulelinux CVS. Men alle filene skal ligge der.
Malfilene skal ligge på i18n/other/templates/debian/

As this seems to talk about organisation of the Skolelinux CVS reagarding the Debian-Installer related files (and the recent change from "stages" to "levels"), would you mind making me a short translation, Håvard?
I try to follow the way teams organise their work regarding d-i (in case some urgent fix is needed)...but I still need to enhance my Norwegian skills..:-)...I should maybe go for a few months in one of your schools running Skolelinux networks? :-)

The files on skolelinux CVS are organised in the old way with stages. I haven't bothered to change that, partially because I don't see much gain, and in some sence loosing cvs history. I think all the files are there, but not in the same order. It shouldn't be that important since we have to send bug reports the get them in anyway.

That would be nice. I wouldn't mind doing that myself for a month or two. My dayjob is in a electronic designhouse in Trondheim, and is quite far from skolelinux. Håvard

I'm afraid my wife/boss/kids/garden wouldn't appreciate that much me to go away for a few months...even for learning nb AND nn....y
