Well, Annabelle, the Norwegian translation is a strong team in Debian (and, as side effect, in Ubuntu and Skolelinux...or Debian nb/nn localization is a side effect of Skolelinux, dunno).
But even strong teams are always seeking for motivated people to help because there's always work to do in localization.
I suggest you get in touch with the i18n-no people (I CC the list) or, more precisely people such as Bjørn Steensrud (translator of Debian installer for Bokmal), Håvard Korsvoll (Nynorsk translator) or Karianne Gröningsätter (Simira on IRC and active in Debian Women and working, IIRC, on Ubuntu localization for nb). All of them are IIRC subscribed to i18n-no and will thus see this mail. I leave up to them to contact you directly.
(Karianne, sorry in advance for possible mess in your family name, I write it from memory...:))

Melita, have you ever considered working on Croatian translations? The status of the work for your language is currently not that great. For instance, even though the installer is translated in Croatian, I've been told by Josip Rodin (who translated the woody installer in the past), that the quality of the translation is not really high.
Up to now, I haven't been able to find someone motivated to work on that translation and I would be delighted if I could....
Feel free to answer me in the list (so that others see this....I'm always hoping this can motivate other people). Technical details about "how to do" may come later (in that case, we would probably switch to a more appropriate place such as debian-i18n).
Of course, also feel free to tell me that you're not interested in localization if this is not an area you have interests in. I promise I won't bite...:-)

For skolelinux-oversettelse, KDE mm: Våre oversettelser sendes inn til KDE sentralt, og kan derfra brukes av alle andre norske Lunux-distribusjoner.
Du er velkommen til å bidra, er finner du mer informasjon om hvordan du går i gang :-)
